How To Measure Gates     

 

We don't expect everyone to be gate experts, so here is some useful information. If measuring between existing wooden posts or brick pillars, we suggest you measure the top, bottom, and middle to get an accurate gap figure. You best bet is to go by the smallest measurement so as to be sure your wooden gates / garage doors fit. If you are not sure, don't worry. Give us a call and we will gladly advise you...

 

It is best to check and then double check the sizes for peace of mind. Also you might want someone to assist you in holding the tape while you measure.
